I'm seeing people pop up on jaiku who i as far as i know wheren't even on twitter. How are they sucked in this migration?

I'm seeing it too, but maybe it is a cross pollination thing. A joins, adds their twitter friends and some Jaiku friends. Jaiku friends go to A's jaiku page to add them back and notes some new people (e.g Hey, they have an SL avie as their icon!) and then adds them.
OMG you people are all having an affair on Twitter with your Jaiku mistress. Well you know what they stay. What happens online, STAYS online, syndicated grossly via extensible markup and really simple syndication in a portable open API format. Just sayin'.
